Chris was born in Zimbabwe and spent the first 20 years of his life there before migrating to the UK in 1999. He is a published author with an interest in mental health well-being. He loves spending time with his family, watching football, enjoys reading and likes to travel. He has 17 years experience of working in different psychiatric services including the National Health Service and private health sector. Currently he is a Strategic Programme Manager in NHS England working for London region. In the last 10 years Chris has had the opportunity to lead on transformational service redesigns across mental health services, including writing standards and supporting the development of mental health services in other countries. Chris is passionate about empowering people to discover their own full potential in life. He is also committed to charity work and the development of others. Through the promotion and sharing of good practice between healthcare colleagues, he has been involved in and supported charitable organisations both in the UK and Africa.
